Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MiraFolio iOS application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The Service
MiraFolio is a wallpaper companion app for iPhone. It lets you organize photos from your photo library and an in-app private album, rotate them as wallpapers, tag and filter them, transfer images from a computer over your local Wi-Fi network, optionally sync the private album through your own iCloud account, and automate wallpaper changes through Apple Shortcuts.
Because iOS provides no public API for apps to set wallpapers directly, wallpaper changes are performed through Apple Shortcuts workflows that the App helps you install. The reliability of automated wallpaper changes therefore depends on the iOS Shortcuts system, which is outside our control.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service (including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. Your Content
All photos and images you manage in the App remain yours. We claim no ownership of, and gain no access to, your content. You are solely responsible for the content you import into the App and use as wallpapers, and you represent that your use of such content does not infringe the rights of any third party or violate applicable law.
4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
- Certain features (such as Wi-Fi transfer and adding new photos to the Private Album) require a paid upgrade (“Pro”), offered as non-renewing subscriptions (monthly or yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
- Non-renewing subscriptions do not auto-renew; access to Pro-gated features ends when the period expires. After expiry, you keep full access to content you already imported — browsing, organizing, tagging, exporting, and using it in rotations — only the ability to add new photos to the Private Album and use Wi-Fi transfer is paused until you renew.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that permanently unlocks Pro features on your Apple Account.
- Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under App Store policies. We cannot issue refunds directly; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Purchases can be restored on a new device through the App's restore function, using the same Apple Account.
5. Third-Party Services
Some optional features rely on services we do not operate:
- iCloud sync uses Apple CloudKit under your own Apple Account and is subject to Apple's terms.
- AI tagging requires you to configure a third-party, OpenAI-compatible API with your own API key. Your use of that service — including any fees it charges and its handling of the images you send — is governed solely by your agreement with that provider. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure and for any charges incurred under it.
- Apple Shortcuts is an Apple system feature subject to Apple's terms.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to store, display, or distribute content that is unlawful, or to use the Wi-Fi transfer feature to access another person's device without authorization. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the App or attempt to circumvent its purchase verification.
7. Backups and Data Loss
Private Album photos live inside the App's local storage. If you delete the App without exporting your Private Album photos or enabling iCloud sync, those photos will be permanently lost. You are responsible for maintaining backups of content that matters to you (e.g., via export, iCloud sync, or device backups). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that wallpaper automation will work in all iOS configurations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.
10. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App. Sections 3 and 7–12 survive termination.
11. Changes to the App and These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be available at this page with the effective date shown at the top. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Apple App Store
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
